After reading Gaspode's extremely interesting thread about BEST moments in chunky Moyles' 10 years, I was just wondering about other's opinions on what HASN'T worked? For example, things that have happened that you feel Moyles & Gang could have handled differently (for whatever reason). Or a feature you have detested?

For me, I think, one of the worst mornings EVER was the morning Lily Allen came in to see Moyles. Her attitude was nothing short of diabolical, and I felt Moyles was way too lenient, considering how firm he can often be with others.

I dunno about anybody else but I always cringe whenever its announced that they're all going to come up with games, made up ones, its like going into the bargain bin or the cutting room floor to see the leftover bits for the sake of filling air time. Thankfully though, this is more of a problem for the podcast around this time when they're on holiday.

OB's - particularly awful I remember being Skegness a couple of years ago. Utter tripe.

Loads of others too. I'm a bit of a perfectionist. As much as the show is great, there's still loads of stuff that I've hated.

* and Pullitt went on a bit long but when they first came up with it randomly (Dom playing a farm atmosphere disk to convey a city I think it was) I was having issues with not making a fool of myself while laughing on the crosstrainer. I think a sheep bleated just at the appropriate place.

For the record, I think this is Viv's best thread ever (though arguably that's not a difficult achievement) and Boboff's criticism a bit harsh because it's relevant and (crikey) the thread title relates to the content!

thank you, Topher! I was thinking the same! The odd thing was I came up with it when quite exhausted at the time.. perhaps I should create all threads when requiring zzzzz's. And as to the title, I'm not happy with it... If I had to go back in time, I would call it "Left of Centre". Damn and blast. Too late.

Here's another thing that "didn't work" : this morning's show!!! I listened to about 10 mins. of the Show this morning, which seemed to be instantly choc-a-bloc with "baby talk". Moyles mentioned at one point attracting new parents / parents-to-be as new listeners. Yep... well... keep this up and you'll clear out all your current listeners. On account of the "baby talk" this morning, I had to move radio station altogether and listen to other stations. I appreciate Dave is a new dad (and the novelty of talking about this will wear off), but it was hardly the best of beginnings after a holiday break.
