[sarcasm]I know, it's terrible. Chris and the team do breakfasts, then The Rallyoake in the evenings and go round the country and demand a whole day off. I'm disgusted as I pay their wages in the form of the tv licence.[/sarcasm]

alright! i'm just saying he's had the weekend to recover and most of the radio 1 audience would prefer to see Moyles back on monday rather than fern and reggie. He does get paid enough.

What is it about being a radio presenter which means you aren't allowed to take your holiday whenever you want? And yes, he gets paid shedloads - but only when he works, he is freelance, not a BBC employee - he only gets paid for the time he is contracted to work. Same goes for Comedy Dave.

I think he is - if someone from UM drops in here, maybe they could confirm that? I would have thought probably most if not all the "main" presenters are contracted to Radio 1 rather than employed by the BBC, but I don't really know.

He used to but I think he got fed up with the fact that nobody here likes his site and he couldn't ban us for it.

All hail timp for where theres a nigglin' a nigglin away at him/her there he'll/she'll be t-t-t-t-tolding-you-so! But t-t-t-thats not all folks, for Chris has now twice matched his annual salary (or there abouts) for comic relief, err yeah thats all I wanted to say. So he can put his rallying feet right up tomorrow, Oke?

A very tired saviour at the end of a hard weekend of whatever it was I did. Really good effort this year I liked the sketches, peter kay matt lucas and the proclaimers were classic not to be missed, and I've still yet to see Jamie getting sent up by ricky gervais, mr bean and the dibley stuff and probably more. God Bless Youtube and all who upload to her.

hello, it's sunday evening and despite a weekend of sleep i'm still so so soooo tired, and imagine the whole team feel the same, so another day off just mean the shows will be super great, rather than we're all a bit too tired for this great!

He's on air for 3 hours a day, as he's often said before he usually does about another 3/4 on top of that, behind the scenes.

I just think its strange how people who wouldn't for a minute think that they have the right to tell me, or you Baggie, or Gaspode, or anyone how and when they should organise their time off think that they have every right to tell Chris Moyles how he should organise his. There really do seem to be people out there who think that just because he is "famous" and can command excellent money he has to ask their permission to have a lie-in. Weird.
