Only if we want to turn into UnofficialMills, Jono Read is the mention whore, not Chris Harris.

We needed an ambassador of ,net and all who sail in her. Giving free research to the show and being dedicated to exploring the CMS phenomina might have swung it, what I've got to stop thinking of is somebody who heard the show for the first time ever and won tickets. Normal service is resumed now but last week when I was all giddy before my b day I asked Aled but to no avail I never believed I was gonna blag something. So the best we can do now is switch our tellies on on the night (I wont I'll be out havin a few Guinnesses) and give the 'Rollin'init oke team' a big warm ,net cheer (pledge a bit more money and err stuff).

Its a bit late now for any other plans I think, but I'm sure they keep the website open if yer wanna carry on when the shows over and all the big red noses are put safely away in glove compartments.

Older users liked things the way they were and newbies are either desperate for a mention on air by being here or busy requesting Roy Walker CPC phrases.

This is the wrong website if what you're after is a mention - its a very rare thing around here!

I certainly ain't desperate for a mention. What a silly thing to say about people.

O... so this is all directed at me, is it.... well, as I've said before... what is pointless to you ain't pointless to me.
I think you are pointless purely by your existence. Rotate on that.

That was a valid point though Viv, just because he doesnt provide the evidence to back it up.

It's not a personal attack by any means Viv, it's a general thing that could be said for the 'majority' of new people who have joined the site in the last year or so.

Getting angry on an internet message board does no-one any favours, shame people take the internet so seriously these days.

There are a lot more serious people aren't there?

I mean among the older people there are a lot of berks (Sidders and Adam) but at least you know you can take the pee and they won't spit the dummy.

do you know what I agree with you both, I don't post for mentions and I don't think ballie does, but it was more interesting here 9 months ago, most days it's drivel, which I am sure pissesss people off, and I am not blameless, can we have more opinions, right or wrong ?

I did have an idea that chrismoyles.net could open a cafepress shop, with the funds automatically donated to comic relief, but I guess the use of the banner would contravene some sort of copyright, and permissions would need to be sought from everyones face used in it, so maybe not such a good idea.

Still, would love to have a chrismoyles.net mug.

I like the foot-loose sig, good idea that.
I've been ebaying for red nose day.

I can just see it now, Brand mincing about the crowd.

"what have we got here" *grabs big card board cheque*

"This is £450,000 raised at Sainsbury's through the sale of red noses."

"And here's another one"

"The staff at Boots the Chemist held a sponsered trump-a-thon, and we raised £30,000"

"And here"

"All customers at DFS were asked to pay a donation or face a beating, we raised £50,000"

"And finally this one here"

"This is from all the geeks at chrismoyles.net, we asked for donations and raised £3.60."

............ t'aint gonna happen even if you wanted too. Plus you should really be donating for the reasons of trying to get a mention....... that's just not cricket.

Bearing in mind that along with mentions usually comes criticism, ridicule and humiliation (doesn't it Baggie?), I really wouldn't want one anyway. I'm not emotionally strong enough.

I don't get the "I wanna be famous" attitude demonstrated by the kind of people who apply for big brother or X-Factor and the like.

It really would be the last thing I'd want to do, and my worst nightmare.

I like my anonymity........ rather like Clark Kent.

and the older members seem to be getting more and more sanctimonious about it all...
Do as we say and not as we do etc...

example; I fire some of Tophat's 'humour' (i.e a similar sarcastic comment) back at him and he moans at me for it instead of assuming it to be sarcasm like he tells me to do...

Hi Neil, I can't see today's show in the folder, d[…]
