I've only watched one Mars episode, and maybe I dont get it yet but, those mind torture sequences where whatshisname is being taunted by that casino manager out of HUSTLE were just not believable, but I'm a fan of the gritty format, its just when it goes all Ooh! Dr Who! that I start to think an alien is gonna appear.

But yeah, I aint qualified to comment on it, Life on Mars means aliens like Dr Who then? Ok. I just think they have a brilliant show without involving other fictious dimensions.

you obviously dont get the hole life on mars thing. firstly it has nothing to do with mars or aliens. the main character was sent back in time in a coma after a carcrash. it is set in a time when there was alot of corruption in the met.
therefore i dont think a moyles version would be any good because it would take too much setting up in terms of a story line.
