I enjoyed series 1, unpretentious nonsense with no delusions of seriousness or worthiness - I liked it a lot. But I completely forgot it was on last night, so I missed it. Does anyone know if there is going to be a repeat anywhere?

mmm, having just done a quick search on radio times, it doesnt appear there is a repeat.

You might be able to catch it on the BBC website?

Good to see Max back He's great and i saw him playing with James Brown at Electric Proms, didn't know he's a brilliant musician. Ah and that fit australian girl (forgot her name...) Last nights start to season 2 was a bit odd. They've changed the filming style and it looked really different as I preferred the style that season 1 had. Chris looked pretty good I must admit. Max was great, and Natalie Mendoza (the oz hottie) looked great and also different from seaosn 1. The episode wasn't really all that either tbh, hope future episodes are better.

not another thred on this. chris is more likely to lose 5stone than become a good actor. he spent the whole thing looking like a small animal dazed by the headlights and about to be hit by a car.

Hotel Babylon is one of the best programmes on TV, it's stylish and different, and so OTT, that's what makes it so watchable. I can't wait for the first series to be released on DVD in March.

Is that the appeal of Footballers Wives too?

Sorry but OTT isn't always good.

I've never seen Footballers Wives to be honest. OTT isn't always good. But in the right amount, in the right context, it can lead to a very good programme.
