Dunno if it's exactly worthy of an award (as Moyles was saying), but it certainly starts the show off well !!

Although it's been covered a while ago - would still say it's a great start to the show - especially as we now have various versions to sing along to! My alarm goes off during the pips so it's the first thing I hear - kind of surreal when you're still half asleep - then the next few minutes of chat (with the tune and the 'flautist' in the background) are great to gradually emerge from sleep to. So Viv, I know exactly where you're coming from! Maybe Chris should release it - wonder if it would make number 1?

i wish i could wake up like that. I have 3 alarms (two on my phone one alarm clock) and still cant get up in a morning. Doesnt matter what time i go to bed.

The news is now at 0655 and the show starts bang on 0700.

I think its started at 0655 coz chris wanted to catch listeners from other breakfast shows that start at 0700. Kinda like ITV starting their shows at say 2159 to stop folk switching over!
