Is there a reason why I can't edit some of my posts?

The only place you cannot edit posts is in the ramble section, and even then there is a preview button.

Also, I think, that you can only edit your last post in any certain topic. So if you have made 3 posts in one thread, the last one is the only one you can edit.

Yeah, and I do try and use it, but sometimes you can click the wrong button without meaning to and make a daft mistake.

Is there a reason for it or is it just a case of "its the way it is, get used to it"?

I never knew there was stuff down there, let alone the "Jump to" button, or the view next topic button very useful. I guess I've never gone further than the submit button.

The reason you can't edit in certain forums is to make you think a bit more carefully before posting. The Ramble (formerly Trash) section often contained/contains arguments.

Dear Moderators

When we "appear hidden" in the forum, i.e. no one can see our online status, does that stretch to you mods? Or can you see us in said hiding place.

I have some more questions,

Can you all see the "hiders" or is it just you Chris?

Are there different levels of clearance for the mods, if so what's the ranking system?

Do the other mods have the power to mod you? If you step out of line can they over throw you like in a military coup?

What's the career path towards becoming a mod?

Have you mods ever met in person?

I would assume that 'we' means all of them, though I think you can configure lots of different levels on phpBB.

Is MC still a moderator, he seems to be AWOL.

All the global moderators can see hidden users, that's me, Console and MC.

There's no path to moderator status, it's on an as-I-feel basis.

Other moderators could moderate my posts, if they so wished.

I've never met anyone from here, and I'm quite happy with that, thanks.
