Hi there

I might be being really thick but i dont know how to download the sounds/podcasts so that I can put them on my mp3 player. They keep downloading to a temporary file and then dissapearing?!

can anyone help please

Are you clicking 'Save' instead of 'Open'? If you right-click -> Save Target As, you can choose where to download it so you can transfer it to the media of your choice afterwards.
