A mildly amusing story about DP, there's a tinge of "had to be thereness about it".
Dave has been mixing it up with his Dance Anthems tour throughout the summer at nightclubs, recording a few sound clips and shout outs for the Sunday show.
Anyway, he had arrived at one of his venues where I also happened to be on a social arrangement. For reasons that don't pertain to the story I had Dave's mobile number, however he didn't have mine.
After a few minutes in DJ console of nightclub, Dave started to have some mixing issues and his vinyl was jumping all over the shop. So I decided to give him some constructive feedback via the SMS text system.
"Dave you couldn't mix a ****in pancake mix"
Obviously Dave being the good humoured guy we all love he took it well....
He read the message and stormed off in a strop out of the DJ console midset! Only to return after a 20 minute cooldown.
As I said a real had to be there was funny at the time. He only pulled an extra 200 folks in as well
