Hi there,
Thank you for the *Weird Al* suggestion and the other links - yes, it was Polka music (!) Moyles was playing renditions of very current music in the style of Polka. I haven't found the band yet (I checked some of weird al's stuff) but if anyone remembers, I'd be very grateful !

Thank you soo much for all your help, I must have been listening to the wrong tracks on iTunes (there isn't much of Weird Al on there). I am new to listening to the Moyles show, as I've only just started getting up that early 8O and the polka music made my day !!!
