The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Is anyone else tired of Aleds attempts at being humourous by sounding stupid when he does his guest intros or place intros. I find them really embarrasing.

I'm not tired of them as such they don't really bother me. I dont find them the slightest bit funny though, there isn't a single ounce of humour with those daft intros. Maybe Aled finds them funny i dont know.

I'm just tired of Aled in general. For me he's always been the weakest link of the show.

I've always liked Aled, he reminds me of a camp(er) Melinder in the sense that he goes out & about and mingles with the public on the show.

I liked his Guide to New York snippets from last year, especially when he tried to talk New Yorkie.

I think the show's great at the moment, I don't see why people complain but then again I only get a chance to listen to it once or twice a week, maybe that's why?

Also in the case of Rachel, she really did grate me a bit in regards to the hair clippers and Health & Safety, what would happen? would the clippers decide to split Moyles' head in two?

I dont really agree with Aled being the weakest link i actually think he's ok but those intros he does are s**t. Not sure about Carrie being the worst either would have to be a tossup between Carrie and Rachael. I agree about the clippers thing i mean whats the point of being so sour & bossy all the time it really brings the vibe of the show down i think, and notice she is the only one that laughs when she tries to say something funny, and that horrid voice and personality of hers, jeez!

In summary, my opinion is that Aled is alrght in my book but stop those cr*p intro mate its totally arse.

I think Aled is ok, but I think he wants to be a star in his own right, with his own website n all... I have liked some of his place intros in the past, but I think they are gettin tired, and sometimes are too place-specific, and then i don't get the jokes...maybe that's just me bein stupid tho!

To be fair, Comedy Dave writes them.

So blame him.

So you'd rather them be stuck in a basement radio studio rather getting out, meeting people - actually going further to make good radio? When will the "urgh, they are wasting fee money" agurement going to stp? I thought people only talked about that when they were drunk?

Have to agree, I wish people would stop going on about the Licence Fee.

I used to be opposed to the licence fee but seeing the poor state that Carlton/LWT.... sorry ITV1 as we MUST now call it, seems to be then I am happy to keep the licence fee.

But I don't think it should go up for a while & there should be some changes: Discounts for students 16-25 years old & free tv licence for over 65's, the average life expectancey age for a man in this country is 75 so to only make it free 75+ is a real p*ss take

Very much agreed, I still smile when I think of him referring to the people of Trinidad and Tobago as "trini-tobogganists"
