Which bright spark at the BBC thought of that one eh?

Well you could use them as PC sound effects at all for Illegal Operation, Empty Recycle bin, etc.

BTW is it me or do the "Super Ted" & "Strap It up..." sound effects have talking over them?

Why the heck does it matter anyway? By the simple naming and reference in the title of the thread you have made your own post obsolete

Just starting a debate thats all....

I felt that Chris was getting a little annoyed at all the red tape that Management keep putting in front of him. Not been able to call it a ringtone or SkyHD or IPod, It must be like treading on eggshells all the time. OK so i know the BBC has 'no advertising policy' but for god sake, let the guy say what's on his mind, thats the reason we tune in.... Stop trying to water it down BBC.....

Ahh, thats better.

Aquaboy do you know anything about the BBC??? This isnt something just aimed at Chris.

Why do you think all the comedians like Frank Skinner end up going to ITV?

There are still the same restrictions on advertising on itv programmes - if you keep mentioning a certain brand (lets say AOL) all the time in certain shows, it's seen as free product placement, and thus other companies of the same ilk (NTL, Telewest, BT etc) get annoyed as they have to pay to advertise on there, so within proper programmes the same restrictions apply.
