Wow, I wonder who resurrected the account? Must be either Chris or Aled...as far as I'm aware, the account is property of Radio 1 though - and the passwords would have been secure, putting Aled in the frame.

I'm sure I remember Aled telling Chris during the last few weeks that the Twitter account was his, if he wanted it. As it wasn't official set up by Radio 1, but them instead.

But I think Nick Grimshaw's @R1Breakfast twitter will stay for every breakfast show to come.

Can't believe it's been a year now... on the other hand, it feels like millennia ago that I listened to anything other than local radio, sport stations and the last half hour of that sh*tty excuse for a chart show that's the only thing I ever tune in to Radio 1 for nowadays!

Get yourself back on the radio Chris, even if you have to "lower" yourself to commercial stations.

It's the crappy, crappy sound... of Radio 1...

I didn't actually cry during the last show, I almost did when the team gave their own speeches nearer the end of the show. Especially Aled's one.

I almost did, but I was getting ready for work and needed to hold it together. When I got home though...yep. And then when I watched the video clip of them with the tribute book...yep. And at least one more after that. I'm ridiculously over-emotional, but I don't care.
