I do think he has a point with the newbies, there are times where certain members have really machine gunned new members down straight away without a second thought, i've commented on this before. There can be some nasty folks on here.

Because, erm... they all work at Radio 1? What a crazy thought!

Also, humour is subjective, what is unfunny to you may be hilarious to others.

Aled wrote:what a miserable bunch! The guides do just that day in day out - they are guides. We found then hilarious as they hammed it up. Does that make things fake! Are you all that far now from Chris' humour that what he sees as tv gold is your 'utter tripe?'

Aled, cyw, calm down! I found the reactions of the team funny as I already said!!! I think Chris probably found it more funny than we did as he has a personal relationship with you guys, had it been someone I knew personally I think I would've found it funnier.

Bruvva wrote:Looking at the comments, I'm wondering what people were expecting - Blair Witch 3? If you've seen any Most Haunted or Ghosthunting with.. before then you know exactly what'll happen, people in the dark being scared by assorted bumps and bangs and Yvette in a big coat. We were never going to see any paranormal activity, the entertainment was seeing Rach, Aled and co being scared witless.

And as for moaning about ad breaks, it's ITV - what do you expect?

Bruvva I do watch Most Haunted and that was nothing like it! There was very little "activity" which, for me, made it a bit dull. I usually find something in these programmes that freak me slightly. The medium should've been with them in the locations, not just relaying information to Yvette from outside. In summary it was the programme I found dull not the reactions of the team. I found Rach, Dave and Aled hilarious and Scotts inability to use a camcorder confirmed my opinion of him! Mind you it's the first thing he's ever done that made me laugh!

Haha. I think it is alot nicer now then what it was when i first joined. If a person posts stupid comments they are going to get jumped on.

The reason I said it to Zoot and not to you was because I knew Zoot would realise it was a joke. I judged well with you too, clearly.

a -Wow - thank you!

b -An exclamation mark is good sign of something being a joke.

c -I'll not bother posting again if that's what you want.

a - You're welcome.

b - Another sign is when the person something is said to has enough sense and knowledge to know that its a joke.

c - Please yourself.

I know, they need to toughen up a bit.

I missed Chris' rant on this thread. He didn't read my post out again like during the "7 million listeners" debate did he? *groans*

I missed it too. Are we in trouble again?

Maybe it's not a case of us not getting Chris's humour maybe he just doesn't get ours?

He just takes the very few negative things and makes them the only things he ever mentions on air. I wiuld think it would get more people to come and have a look here ultimately, and it's more fun for him to rant than to be lovey-dovey - and more fun to listen to.

Am I not right in saying that Mr Moyles slagged off Most Haunted a few years back? I might be wrong with that, but just because the team are in it, it doesnt automatically mean that we are going to enjoy the programme.

I watched a bit of it and it was good to see them doing something on the tv - I still don't get the programme though. I wish Aled wouldn't take comments about a tv show so personally - there was nothing criticising him or the team.

Another poster said something about getting them on a tv show for an interview - I would much rather see that than them on what is pretty much crap telly.

Putting that extra "a" in her name REALLY annoys her.... :)

The point I was trying to make is that neither programme is exactly a scientific study in ghosts, ok "Ghost hunting with..." is played for more laughs but they're both cut from the same cloth. Oh, and from what I've been told, the psychic, David Wells was actually with them in the rooms - just off camera.

It was Chris' rant that inspired me to register. I'm waiting to be refused back seat on the bus now, or have my virtual head flushed down a virtual loo...

I've SKY+'d Most Haunted and will definitely watch it tonight, Chris reminded me. A "Good Thing" from ITV2's perspective, I'd say :)

This thread is now brilliant. If only for simonpearce's spectacular missing of the point.
