I just normally prefer to drive (except to London, where it's permanent gridlock) anywhere. Driving in Liverpool is no big sweat.

London is a hell hole to drive in. I had to do it once with a trailer on the car. Never again.

I've driven in London once or twice, but I don't know the roads nearly as well as I know the Tube network, so attempting to navigate is futile unless I have a passenger who can read a map. Cab drivers are a nightmare at the best of times (sorry foot-loose), but in London they are even worse and at least every other car is a cab!
