I just saw, walking past my office, a man aged about 65, bald, flat cap, black jacket, turquoise broderie anglaise sundress, tan coloured tights and strappy sandals. Now THAT boboff, took balls. Everyone knows you should never wear tights with sandals.

I heard them say Edith would be starting earlier, i'm guessing around 12 but I can't listen now because I'm at work and can't get a signal.

Loved the show so far though.

I only listened to about an hour of the overtime today, did they say what happened to Coxy?. They mentioned staying on after 10 at around 8 this morning, so they obviously knew she wasn't coming in.

All they said that she wasn't hungover and it wasn't pulling a sickie. She did mention that her daughter was ill on her show yesterday though, so could well be to do with that

I thought it was an nice surprise that they stayed on for that long. Some of it felt a bit too much like padding though..

I gotta admit. I'm listening to it now on Listen Again and this is fantastic. I've been laughing so hard at this half hour bit. Possibly one of the funniest things that I've heard on Moyles possibly ever. The stuff about Aled's ex girlfriend and the AHJ Posse had me creasing.

man that was the worst 30 minutes of radio i've ever heard dom and chris tried to save it but failed.
I get the joke was i'm aled and it's all about me but lets face it unlike chris aled is not that intresting or funny.
The whole thing stunk thankfully chris was on till 12 to make up for the lost half hour he probably felt guilty.

Aled Happy birthday but stay away from presenting cos your sh*t

I thought it was good. The funniest thing is knowing how much time Aled spent on it for the 30mins it was.

Aled wrote:BLIMEY! Since when was I hated this much on this forum!?

I think there's quite a few of the regulars on here who would rather have you as the on air producer, so you can't be that hated. Then again some people really dislike Rachel..

It does seem more on here enjoyed it than didn't.

I'm also glad we were free of Cox-ucker for a day, even if it did make my previous statement about the following 3 hours being car-crash radio untrue.

There was clearly a hell of a lot of preparation. All those jingles, and a whole 3 minutes of the cheesy song to fill some time. Brilliant radio :D

I thought it was hilarious!!!! Loved the welsh bits too.

Small welsh message for the man of the moment, if you will permit me and if I can remember enough Welsh, not spoken it for about 10 years and not written any for 15!

Aled, Llongyfarchiadau cariad, efo ychydig bach o addysg bydd rhaid i Chris chwilio am swydd newydd. Dal ati cyw. A paid a meddwl fod pobl yma yn dy casau di NID yw hyny'n wir o gwbl xxxxx

It sounded really good. I would imagine it would confused a few people as they drove into work or those who dont actually know who Aled Haydn Jones is. I wonder if they were like, "who's this aled bloke?" Loved the jingles etc. Good effort! x

Just before the 7.30 news on Friday, Chris said, 1 half hour down, 18 to go. Making the show 6 hours long.
So, maybe they did know Sarah wasn't coming in.

Surely 18 half hours is nine hours? (Besides the fact that one half hour down, 18 to go indicates 19 half hours.)
