The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Not at all, i think the above was the reason for my "bannishment for life" and not the result of it. Still they had a group hug after I'd left, THANK GOD, so it's ok.

That was rather funny, I remember. Strange people. I wonder if they've got over you yet?!

The amusing bit was the post from Laura telling them all not to worry about me and that I'd soon be gone. I can't get back in to find it but it'll be in there somewhere.

It was like some kind of cartoon with the mother rabbit telling her little baby rabbits "it's ok children, the wolf will be gone soon, and we can all relax when that happens, but until then let's just all snuggle up and be brave"

It really was rather odd........somewhat over the top behaviour I thought.

I have only poked my nose in there once, and it seemed like a kind of forum equivalent of Stepford........I ran away, very fast.

It's like stepping into a Beatrix Potter book in there. Never before have I met such a bunch of wet unstable people.

You got banned for saying you didn't like the show? Surely it was worse than that?
By Ballbag

I didn't actually say I hated the show in there. What I actually said was that I thought Laura's diary was fake, no more and no less, and I asked if anyone agreed/disagreed. What followed was a load of abuse from everyone, a few highly abusive PM's, being called a cnut (not forgotten that one Mr Glory), a PM telling me that I was an idiot and that I should go and kill myself from some 15 year old bint and finally a life time ban.

Twas quite a day I can tell you.

Sadly, that's about right. Although you were slightly more antagonistic that you're potraying, nothing that deserved a ban (or the abuse) mind you. Infact you occasionally sounded like the voice of wisdom, which shows that something must be wrong.

Back on Topic..

I have to say that no only is it the best comic relief single for ages, but I really really like it.

Granted it's not the original remake, but I dont care. It's a great pop song with Girls Aloud and Sugababes.

Girls Aloud are very well produced, and such a great pop act. Every song on their album is produced that eevery verse sounds like a chorus. I think they are the best pop act of the naughties.

Blleeeaaahhh, now I've got that off my chest... It's rubbish, I'm a manly man and I dont like it. Hmpft.

hmm, a tad excessive surely? 8O

Besides, Laura's Diary was the fakest fake thing i've ever heard. Im sure the first "series" was based on some sort of reality, but it just ended up rediculious.

And "one night with Laura" simply seemed like a waste of money as far as I could tell!

Granted I did turn slightly antagonistic, but that was only as a response to what they were doing, however I was always polite, curtious and generally (as you say) correct.

They are a very unstable and insecure bunch of people in there.

I think the McFly one (two years ago?) was far better, and, [several years] before that, the Boyzone - 'When the going get tough' one was good. I don't particularly like this one and it has nothing to do with the singers, I've like some of the Sugababes and Girls Aloud stuff, not all of it by a long stretch, but definately some of it.

I may do this later if im bored, but I really can't be arsed right now. Plus, whats the point signing up to a fansite to slag it off? Is that not what folks on here get annoyed at?

None even come close to "the stonk" by Hale and Pace...... a purely genius red nose day song.

I remember the stonk very well, I also remember the first red nose day, they didn't have them in the shops to buy in them days, you had to make your own.

Me, and my ballbag siblings got to work with some kinder eggs. We got the yellow "toy containers" and painted one of the halves red, then using a bit of elastic......... hey presto, instant red nose. And I think you had to pay 20p to school to let you wear it.

All I remember was it being very scratchy on the nose, and very toxic (we used red gloss).

You young-uns missed out on all this fun.

Would ping pong balls not have been more effective than kinder egg containers?

Yeah but you don't get the added bonus of chocolate and a surprise with ping pong balls.

Half a ping pong ball is still scratchy.

I find the name kider "surprise" somewhat misleading. While I don't know what is going to appear once the chocolate has been removed, I am yet to be surprised by what I found inside.

At least you would be able to provide some sort of container to keep them it ... ?

It's table tennis balls.

Thanks.

Yeah, but it doesn't sound right.

"Roll up, roll up.......... see the famous Ting-Li her amazing table tennis ball trick".

No, I'm sorry, they'll always be ping-pong balls to me.

Saturday show is up. I'm waiting to see if Neil h[…]
