I think it depends what you want to use them for. Like I said, I wouldn't stir my tea with a ladle - but I wouldn't serve stew with a teaspoon either. So if you are going to say "ladles are a little big", I think you probably need to specify what it is that they are a little big for. Or did I read it wrong? Did you mean "ladles are a little big" in the context of a ladle actually being a small item in comparison to some other type of spoon? Maybe you meant "ladles area little big spoon" - the context there potentially being that in the world of big spoons, ladles are actually quite small? I couldn't be sure, because unlike you Mr Spoon, my experience of the World of Spoons is very limited. You on the other hand could be considered the world's leading authority I imagine, and I bow to your ultimate knowledge.
