The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

He was saying that we were all complaining about him getting more listeners but still playing the same jingle.

I didn't think we were complaining, in fact, everyone seemed to be saying well done!

I just didn't follow how it worked. Turns out its coz before they were including listeners from age 4+ now they are looking at a smaller bracket (it might have been 16+, but im not sure). That answered my question, so im happy. :D

I don't think this board is as moany as it used to be about the show, everyone seems to have calmed down a bit, it might be coz everyone just complains about viv instead.

I think it's right and healthy that we did question the listening figures. Much better that then accept everything a face value. We've now got a explanation; so we're happy.
BBC charter renewal is coming up - they've got more listeners to boost their case. Everyone's happy.
Enough said. :D

Ahh

I wasn't meaning today - just in general.

I dunno where she is. I would worry if I did.

Not half as much as the rest of us would, I can tell you that.

Someone (possibly Stevo) hit the nail on the head about Moyles' mentions of this site I think - it does him good to make this site sound bitchy about the show, he has got quite a lot of material from having a fan site that 'hates' him. I think he knows really that we don't complain and understands that as ardent fans of the show, we are entitled to be critical of parts of it from time to time, because we want it to be as good as it can be (Fish heads puts that better than I just did, but that's about the gist of it.)

Given the choice between the slightly prickly yet realistic "relationship" that Chris has with this site, and the gooey icky sickly "love you" interaction between Scott Mills and the licky-licky brown noses over at UM, I know which I'd prefer. So I'll see you over there then!

Really really not.

How many people agree with this description of us?

To be honest it depends on the person. If you think it describes you then ok!

Actually, I meant everyone as a whole, but whatever.

Well, its not a matter of opinion actually, its empirically incorrect. No-one was moaning, merely asking some specific and relevant questions. Check the thread.

Think I missed that bit too! Does this mean he's gonna put us all in detention and make us listen to Mills for hours and hours as a punishment?

'Geek' is not really the preferred nomenclature, is it? It's labelling us all as bespectacled, spotty morons who wouldn't know one end of the opposite sex's reproductive organs from a beetroot, and I'm sure we're all worldly people with lives. Mind you, reprimanding him about it would only make him do it all the more...

Maybe if you take the stereotypical geek, but a general geek is just a person that is motivated by the acquisition of knowledge, generally in the logical subjects, such as mathematics, science (not biology) and technology (electronics, computing).

Surely the whole point of being a geek is that they are rarely morons?
