Was it you that punched Jim Jeffries?

Ha! No, I'm a fan of his as well. It made me laugh when Dave said he'd just discovered him. He's been around a while. His podcast is nuts, and definitely not for everyone, but recommended: http://www.jimandeddietalkshit.com/

Nothing related is SFW. NSFW. etc.

Without saying too much, I take it you've heard the 'lost' podcast, with someone who has teenage fans?

Don't forget Chris Rock and P Diddy! :)

What show was Chris Rock on? I believe it was sometime in Janurary 2008 because they said at the end of a podcast that he will be on next week but never did probably because the interview was so bad! I assume it is up on the sound vault somewhere.

It was excruciatingly painful.

Some people on other forums are saying Cleese is too old for Radio One and that Chris is not doing enough to appeal to the 'target audience'. Personally I enjoyed having John Cleese on as guest but could they have a point? Should he be on radio 2 instead?

He was on Radio 2 as well. Steve Wright had him on and it was a very different kind of interview. Chris did a good job of tailoring the interview for Radio 1 and judging from what people were talking about on Twitter, besides him swearing, he's still relevant and liked. It's nice to have a different kind of guest once in a while.

I'd rather hear John Cleese being interviewed on Radio 1 than some airhead from Essex Is The Only Way or whatever it's called. But then I'm not 17 years old.

I read this in Dom's old 'frothy bevvy/accepted into society' voice.

Those types of people are so artificial and corporate that they make crap guest (I mean people from those reality shows, not people like John Cleese).
