Do you get the feeling that the long instrumental bits were just to screw with the BBC. I have. Good for you the Foo's.

That rings a bell actually. Did I see some wedding pics, or some other family occasion, on her courtesy of yourself a few years ago? Or am I imagining that?

No, but her brother himself may have posted them, he used to post here at one time.

On the topic of Big Weekend, I've set the sky+ for Lady Gaga later, but I'm not bothered about anything else. They probably had to pull the plug at a set time cos the landowners set a curfew, rather than for Russell Howard on BBC3 :)

Have to say a big well done to R1 for the coverage this weekend. I don't know if it's just my bad memory but they seem to have much more content going out live this year, and they aren't letting a few eff's and jeff's here and there stop the live music! :D

Haven't watched the coverage but listening to R1 this weekend has been a pleasure. Moyles and Dave were in fantastic form on Saturday, with Foo's and Plan B being superb.

Congrats to Rachel too!

Moyles was great in the soundclash. I did think that Westwood did hog a lot of the time. Chris didn't get to play as much music that i think that he wanted to play. It was a forgone conclusion before it started that Moyles would win.

Brilliant weekend. My eyes were opened to the Foo Fighters and the Black Eyed Peas- they were brilliant. Chase and Status were every bit as good as I had hoped and Lady Gaga was a big disapointment. What she did was excellent, but she ran through the hits far too quickly.

ahaha, you know you can just download Family Guy from the States? It hasn't been any good for about 5 seasons anyway.

I've loved Madonna since her first hit (when I was six) and I also love Gaga. I don't see how you can be a fan of one and not the other. If you love that style of performance art then you love it.

Yeah great performance from Lady Gaga, even if she did skip the hits a bit quickly. I think there was definitely more streaming this year which is great for those who can't go - in fact it makes not being there even better in some respects, because as Aled tweeted, you can't just nip out and go for a wee during a gig like that!

For some reason I couldn't get R1BW on my Virgin Media red button, but I have a PC plugged into my TV so watched it online. I had it running most of Saturday and some of Sunday. Foo's were amazing. I really want to see them live. We recorded Lady GaGa off of BBC3 last night so might watch that tonight.

Does anyone think they might get complaints as there was a bit of bad language? I know it's a live broadcast and can't be helped but I am sure there is a sad Muppet that will complain to OfCom!

The whole weekend looked brilliant, made me sad that I am not going to a festival this year.

Even if there are complaints then OFCOM most likely won't do anything about it. They gave enough warnings and i didn't hear that much bad language personally

I've just finished my audio clipping of the majority of the big weekend performances.

I have 139 files taking up 666.9 MB and 10.2 hours. If anyone wants any of it just let me know.

Is a CD 700mb or something? If so then yeah I can but they won't be compatible to play on a CD player unless the CD player can play mp3 files
