Recently heard that Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie will be moving from Radio 2 to 6Music, taking the 1pm-4pm slot. Jo Whiley will take their vacated Radio 2 evening slot.

This also means that both Mark and Lard are now on 6Music, in different time slots!

I'm very pleased not only does it mean that I can listen to Radcliffe & Maconie with music I generally like (some of Radio 2's output is good but some of it far too old fashioned for me) but could we possibly see oen of Mark & Lard shows again, probably not but we could hope they may do the odd specials here & there

It pisses me off as Radcliffe & Marconi were the only listening bright spot during a pishpoor evening shift at work.

Yeah, I certainly agree with you there. Especially on the weekends, Radio 2 is a bit old-fart if I'm really honest, in the nicest possible way!
