The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues
#421164
After reading all of the articles written on various websites, and printed in various newspapers. I feel that I would like to say something.

Radio 1 's listener figures have gone through the roof since Chris Moyles joined them, and will continue to rise if the BBC and the media let them. The fact that Chris Moyles had a bit of a rant about his not being paid, well to be honest who wouldn't be angry if they're employer hadn't paid them, come on have some perspective on this subject.

As for that stupid ginger idiot on Radio 2 saying that Moyles is too old for the breakfast show and that he should move on, well that is a load of rubbish and is ageism. Who cares how old the DJ is, as long as he's doing the job and keeps bringing in the listeners ? Chris Evans should stick to his own load of tripe on Grandad Radio 2 and leave the professionals on Radio 1 to do their thing.

I listened to Radio 1 this morning and as good as Sara Cox is on the radio, she is no Chris Moyles, I must say i was disappointed when Chris Moyles was not there to entertain us today.

Lets get this sorted, and get Chris back on breakfast, or do we have to start a campaign group on Facebook ? We all know how much power those groups have.

Anyway, thanks for reading my rant,

Regards

I completely agree, and Terry Wogan is one such example. His breakfast show was still massively popular even only just a few months ago despite him being 72.

I think it's Chris' personality, humour and brute honesty that keeps me listening. He's just great.
