Chris is making comments on certain children shows and he looks 'odd' for want of a better word :?

He has a 'chin beard' and makes his face look different. His haircut looks weird too.

It maybe just me but its not the Chris I love to look at :(

Anyone else seen this ?

I'd say it was a repeat, Channel 4 did a lot of these programmes back in the early 2000's, I think it was a programme made by LWT, which means that there's a good chance that the LWT Productions caption has been replaced by an ITV Productions/Studios one which may not carry a date.

As always.

I've seen this before but didn't recall it being hosted by Nick Grimshaw and Miquita Oliver. I also don't remember the 'update' featuring a current show. Maybe I just wasn't paying that much attention first time round!

Ah, that'll be why I didn't see it. A presentation duo of Scott Mills and Matt Fincham would be preferable to them. A LOT preferable.

Although I always enjoyed watching the clips and taking in some of the facts, what I hated about "nostalgic" shows for adults looking back on old kids shows - and anything elsewhere in the media doing the same thing - is the way they always emphasise anything innapropriate from behind the scenes (sex, drugs, profanity etc) at every possible opportunity, as if they have some sort of inferiority complex and want to prove that they're All Grown Up now. Why can't children's TV be remembered for the way the audience it was aimed at actually viewed it? Perhaps this makes me sound like a total prude, but I feel strongly about it. :(

I also continue to find it ridiculous that The Simpsons is considered a Kid's show in this country, surely for no other reason than it being a cartoon.

(I do remember enjoying Moyles' look back at Pob though. Or am I thinking of another talking heads TV show entirely?)

I understand your point but Miquita Oliver is lovely...

No, they've definitely re-filmed the links with those two presenting. They've shown it in that version before, and I remember thinking the same thing. I just can't remember for the life of me who was the original presenter...

I find it hilarious when "celebs" who were 2 when the shows were actually on tell us how much it meant to them.....

Really? She looks what my old granny would have called "common" to me. Really rough.

This annoyed me when Miquita Oliver was on some BBC2 show - the greatest rock n' roll band ever or something? - and she went on about how "Kurt Cobain spoke to teenagers, and I was one of those teenagers." I looked it up - she was 9 when he died. For God's sake.

Couldn't agree more.

Either I'm too old for whatever I catch of T4 now, or they're just not funny. Probably both!
