Right people I'm going to express my views. i just don't get Annie Mac, what is she doing on Radio 1, I just don't think she is any were near as good as the other DJ's on Radio 1. Is this just me or do other people agree, she is very naff.

Thanks

she lknows a lot about music, especially dance, and shes able to do Zanes shows and daytime shows with equal ease.Shes the best 'all-rounder' radio one has.
PS Sorry to dissappoint you,but as well as her weekend shows shes sitting in for Zane starting tomorrow week while hes off on an other holiday.

She was picked to play dance music on radio 1 and seems to have slipped more into daytime for some reason.
I think her mashup show is fantastic and she is also a great club DJ (seen her play Fabric a few times).

I think she should stick to what she is best at :D

Edit - as mentioned above, she's not just dance, as she does well covering Zane's show I think :)

Its not that i don't like her i just find her a little bit annoying. To be honest the best thing about Annie Mac's switch was Nick Grimshaw and I'm well cuffed that he has got his own show, he reminds me of Russell Brand. Get Russell Brand of Radio 2 and onto Radio 1, that is the future. But, i no what you mean she is the best all around DJ.

I don't like her either, but I have to say (at risk of a backlash) that on the whole, with a couple of notable exceptions, I don't really like female radio presenters anyway. I did love Zoe's breakfast show, and I also enjoy Sara Cox (although I'm well aware she has a strong "anti" brigade - for me, she's funny), but mostly female DJs on Radio 1 are bland and uninteresting. The only thing Annie Mac has going for her is a pleasant accent - but that doesn't make her a good presenter.
