The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

I really cannot be doing with Scott mills at all. If i was chappers i would get the hell out of there while the going is good and concentrate solely on the Italian football. It's a damn site more fun and he gets to wear a suit. Sorry Viv, i like the sunday football thing he does. It goes well with the old after- lunch pakaras and popcorn.

I'm gonna stick up for Scott Mills here. As far as I can tell the main things people don't like about Scott are his crank calls and his constant inuendo...

How exactly is Dom phoning up the Croation FA saying they have too many red squares on their shirt or Chris asking the internal phone system for Willy Warmer any differerent? Ok he may not do it as often but it's basically the same stuff.

While I agree that Chris IS funier than Scott I think it's only because Scott takes things further than Chris does. Scott's take on birthday corner didn't work because he made too much of a big deal of destroying the cards that were read out. It's like the difference between Harry Enfield (When he was good) and The Fast SHow. Both similar styles of comedy but on'es a bit more subtle than the other.

No, the reason I don't like Scott is that he treats his listeners like 10 years olds. Granted, that seems to be the audience he appeals to, so fair doos - hence why I don't go on about it.

I just think his humour comes from a more direct approach whereas Chris is more gritty and subversive in his approach to humour. Most of the humour on Chris's show comes from when they're not trying to be funny, I love the off the cuff stuff.

Whereas most of Scotts comedy comes from something they wrote that afternoon, recorded and play out as live.

Oh, and the other thing that gets on my tits is (and he may not do this any more, ive not listened for a while) : "coming up shortly there is a *insert feature here*"... ten minutes later "Coming up after the next couple of records is *insert feature*"... another three records later "coming up after the news we will have *insert feature*"!!!

Seriously - just tell me when it's gonna be there so I can decide if I have time to hear it.

Ill go back to saying that he appeals to a different market than what I'm interested in. He is obviously popular, but my cup of tea. Good luck to him.

I'm in the "he used to be good" camp. I'm sure he still potentially could get back to being good, but he needs to do away with having his team on-air, as that clearly doesn't work for him.

He used to be good camp? I'll slate him for many things, but I can't really call him camp. Not in the true sense of the word. (Although I'm led to believe he is a tad different off-air)

I think I agree about Chappers. I definitely agree about Laura. But it's more than just her, its the lack of energy, the lack of spontaneity that makes it dull. It's really repetitive too. Very narrow spectrum of ideas going on.

You see I think you are all over looking the REAL thing about Jo. She was the girl I always wanted to go out with at school..but never had the balls big enough to ask her...she was called Abigail at my school, she asked me out in the end. Jo Whiley makes being a dj cool and she is just what every young hip indie girl dreams of being...I met loads of Jo Whiley wannabees in my first year of a university course..she just eternally ROCKs! ( in a Dave Grohl kinda way)
