I have only discovered this radio duo (Simon Hames and Hill) in the last month (yeah, probably years behind everyone else), but does anyone else who has heard them think they are equally as good as the Chris Moyles Show ? It is aimed at a slightly older audience music wise, so probably a cross between Chris Moyles on Radio 1 and if he moved to Radio 2.
Is there any history between Simon James and Chris Moyles ? Reason I ask is I am sure I heard Chris Moyles mentioned when I was listening to the Alvin Stardust interview tonight but couldn't work out why. Do they not get on or are they mates ?
Oh and for anyone who doesn't know, they are on Original 106 in the evenings (so not in direct competition with Chris Moyles).
Also thought I would say hi to everyone. First time post here. I used to hate The Chris Moyles Show (I would always listen to Steve Wright over Chris during the afternoon hours), but one night in 2005 I suffered insomnia and listened to his Breakfast show (I don't wake up till gone 10am normally) while trying to sleep and actually found I loved it, not sure what changed. The humour is totally me, and I have also even bought both his books on day of release now, so I have gone from hating him to being a super fan. So for the last 2 years I have Sky Plused it every day and listen to it after midnight (I live odd hours). I must be the only person who listens to his show when it ends around the time his new show starts). So if Chris is reading, then cheers mate for 3+ hours each week day of fun, I actually feel depressed when he goes on holiday and there is 2 weeks without his show, arrggghh
Anyway, cheers everyone.
