Ahh yes the LAFTAS, if they were indeed decided on the site then that would be a certain target demographic, like the BAFTAS - thought of to be high brow old fuddy duddys deciding carefully what old time pension queue actor/actress should get a nice big last hurrah.

No Life on Mars win, but in this case the public did choose it via phone vote on the night, I liked that.

Contrast that with the '14 year olds' at the website deciding who should win, I sometimes think we're basing awards shows on a small handful of people young or old - and their values, we're not really wholly represented as people.

The fact that Scott Mills won an award for being funniest radio show deserves a nomination for a Lafta alone! For the first time ever, I've listened to Wogan as Mills is not funny. He's very childish, especially as him and Chappers are trying to be kids entertainers. Plus playing that Kanye West crap instead of the Cheesy Song is really bugging me!

I dont think it's crap, I really like it, but it's a song thats comercially available. "Good Morning' on his latest album Graduation. In my opinion Mills should keep the cheesy song and if he must advertise Kanye West, why not play it as an ordinary record?

Scott is one of the funniest things to hit the airwaves in a long time and as much as I actually do like Chris I knew since finding the nominations that it was going to be close.

I dont think scott is as funny as moyles but then that is hard too beat! but he does a good job though. i think coxy is funny aswell though!!
