There's a certain sense of irony to Dom's recent teasing of Carrie's posh accent as when Dom used to read the news on Radio 1, back in the day, he used to put on a more serious news-reading voice. Very la-de-dah.

I wouldn't say Dom sounded posher back then...just more enthusiastic. It's like he'd listened to too many over-zealous news reporters and thought he needed to put on a voice like that in order to be good at the job. It seems kinda different to Carrie's varying degrees of poshness.

Dom could never be posh tho and I think that's the difference! He used to work on our local radio station and then he sounded "local"
