As I'm typing this I'm listening to the show. They've made out that they've accidently read out Dom's mobile on the podcast and he was getting random text messages asking about a Cake Competition.

Is this just a rouse to get more people to download it than usual?

On a similar note, listening to the chat this morning about the whole "Katie Price not turning up on time a while back". I thought it interesting that they quite easily suggested that it could have been a publicity stunt on her people's half in order to get in the papers........... yet (as some of you remember) they became very offended when it was suggested on here that they perhaps engineered similar press-coverage-gaining stunts around the time of the big man's book release.

The scenario involving Katie Price could potentially have been deliberate, its the kind of thing a "tabloid" PR firm might come up with. The incidents which you famously mentioned a while back with Chris were a little less obvious - how exactly do you organise a puncture for instance? I suppose it is possible, but highly unlikely.

I know it wasn't. But in reality, the reason I think that the Katie Price thing could very possibly have been planned and that the Moyles related business probably wasn't is simply because I believe that a stunt like that is something her people would organise, and I don't believe that of Moyles. Its a question of how I perceive the individuals concerned - perception which may or may not be accurate, I fully accept, by perceptions nevertheless. And interestingly I have met - several times - Katie Price, and like her, and I still think its exactly the kind of thing she'd do. I haven't met Moyles, but my - obviously uninformed - opinion is that I still don't think those incidents were planned.

Well he's a very clever and astute businessman, and from what they were saying this morning, it's clear that he appreciates the worth and benefit of such events........ and he didn't seem to speak too derogatory of them this morning. That's all I'm saying.
