You mean him and Prost got away with running each other on the track, but Schumacher and any other driver does it and it's suddenly a crime.

and I think now is as good a time as any for the sport.

Still a little cynical about Lewis Hamilton, can't help thinking Jenson could have done similarly well if he's been given a winning car from day one. Also cynical of the fact that brits only ever tend to follow a sport if theres a brit actually doing well, except for football where we just keep losing (again this week I've seen the sight of grown men crying over the Liverpool result) but patriotism stays however much brit teams lose.

I also hope Raikkonen doesn't show that his engines seem to break all the time like they did at McLaren.

The sport has changed since then DemonHorse; don't forget, Schumacher got away with running Hill off the road in 1994, an incident that ultimately won him his first World Championship.

Which is one of the biggest problems with F1 - its about the car first, the pit service next, and only then is it about the driving. It is still a spectacle though.

There is still a significant amount of skill and fitness to keep the thing on the road though, it's just probably less so than previous years.

and the FIA think that changing 20 things all at once with make an improvement.

My point is that while in the eyes of the FIA he 'got away with it', fans still think he was wrong to do the same thing they thought was right for Senna and Prost to do. Thats how it seems to me anyways.
