It never really worked did it, unless it was suppose to be aimed at solely UM/stupid people. Hopefully no money was spent on it.

It would have been better if they didn't insult peoples intelligence by insisting it was real. Especially now they've dropped the pretence. Maybe then more people would have played along.

Would be interesting to have a Q&A with Paul Denchfield after and see how he thinks it all went. Bugging a phone and telling the world about it? Did he really think the fake phone calls would convince anyone with ears? Unscrewing the door comee onnnn? Does he think the average Radio1 listener is 12 and have an IQ of 20 with absolutely no common sense at all? I don't think the secret services will be calling. Might get a job on the Bill though.

Search for Frozen Indigo Angel on google. I think the BBC will see it as a success. It got people talking.

27,800 results. Take off the result that are syndicated, ie from Londonist take the result down to 16,000, take off youtube, twitter, dailmotion etc where Paul has put the frozen indigo angel stuff, take off this site, take off UM.

About 800 result left. Can't see many 'talking' about it, just one person either mentioning the words or posting a synopsis about it as an arg.

Because it's in the signatures of people here and there meaning it turns up results in google for every page that person has a post on. They are totally irrelevant results.

The people who are mainly talking about it now are the arg fans who are just following it for it's link with the other game thingy. It wasn't aimed effectively at the Radio 1 audience, and the people who are interested because of the links with the other game thing aren't going to become loyal listeners to Radio1.

lol why do people get angry about these things - its the BBC trying to use the internet to increase its interactive plans etc.....its fun. Just because you havent found it interesting or taken part doesnt meen its useless.
