I think 'SMerch' is the one out of the two that doesn't like Moyles, although that have both said numerous times that they do think he's a great DJ.

Gervais has been on the show before - late last year I think and it was a good interview IIRC. Didn't seem to be any anemosity

Only if the 'podcast war' started in 2001.

From what I gather, Gervais used to hate Moyles - but doesn't now (or at least as much).

Well I can ask him this Friday if you want. Actually, I probably won't be able to say anything. Just maybe staring a bit.

I listened to Gervais's podcast last week, and I wasn't terribly impressed. I think Gervais, like Moyles, is an acquired taste.

I know many people that don't find Gervais funny, but different people have different tastes; some people are bound not to find things as funny as other people. For example, I never, ever, found 'Little Britain' funny, but I am sure there are people that love it.

Prime example on this forum would of course be Chris himself

I didn't think Friends was as funny as many seemed to think, but the weird part is, I LIKED the Joey spinoff...

Yeah in later episodes... but then I thought Friends was even more so.
Probably a result of the fact that they had to pad out the Joey character from what he was in Friends.

Reminds me of a parody of the theme song that was on The Adam and Joe Show...

"so no one told you we would overact this way,
our shows a hit, its s**t, you watch it anyways
but well be here for you,
and our egos will grow
well be here for you
for a hundred grand a shoooowwwwwww"
