The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

They do my head in! When I listen to the radio, all I want is to listen to music and a bit of chat. Why the hell do I want to know about some random celebrity going to some kids school?! I don't mind the prizes at much but it's the way they go on and on and on about how you register and then the stupid competitions when random people have to 'guess the song' or something. It's so BORING. not to mention ANNOYING.

grrr

I disagree, I think the interactive nature of radio programming is something which engages the audience, and helps to build loyalty with the Station, and it's often good to hear the general public on a show, it means that presenters are human, and can interact with the people they are paid to entertain, not show distain.

Did you know Cameron Diaz She No Do Photo !

I don't need to hear them banging on about the same competition every other link for a month to know that their human though!

I have nothing against listener interaction in general. It's just that competitions are BORING.

(oh and I hate celebrity tarzan, it hurts my earsies :()

Some of the competitions are overdone, like the Red Hot Chili Peppers one, and the Killers roulette and Scissor Sisters Paper Stone. I didn't really understand them and usually mentally, and sometimes literally, switched off. Celebrity Tarzan is annoying too, I try to sleep through it. Competitions in themselves are all very well, but they tend to get carried away and go on about them too much. Like One Big Weekend and other events.

There was a point when the whole show seemed to be about naff competitions but it did calm down. its not so bad when they are innovative but giving away tickets to football etc is dull.

This is the bad side about Moyles moving to Breakfast.

8-9am most days seems to be full of competitions, or plugging of events like Star Pupil. I understand why Chris has to do it, but it's rarely funny and very tedious. In fact that middle hour is consistently the worst.. every day.

I still have no idea why they give away football/rugby tickets. If they have to, why not make it entertaining?
