The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Sad day for the radio industry that the former Radio 1 star Alan Freeman died at 79, even though I'm not in his generation, it's a shame to see such a heavyweight in the media world pass on. Rest in Peace Fluff, radio will never ever see your like again.

Memories of childhood, My Dad didn't like Radio 1, so I used to listen to it on a radio I 'borrowed' from my dad in my bedroom, if I heared him coming up the stairs, then I had to turn it off a bit quick.

Used to listen to Alan Freeman quite a lot back then, the man was a legend.

still is! :(

Yeah i used to love DLT, especially the darts game on a saturday afternoon. And of course Peel, used to stay up well late listening to Peel with a tape ready on pause to get all the cool stuff when i was younger. Great generation of radio.

He always reminded me of an Ewok.
