No I couldn't run 13.1 miles. What my statement meant was that 13.1 miles is still a long distance and anyone achieving it, especially when you aren't a professional should be applauded. It may not be a marathon but its a damn hard thing to do and something, which should be applauded whether you like Carrie or not. So my original reponse to boboff sniffing at that distance stands.

So what impression did you think this post;-

ps: a f*cking long marathon would technically be more than 26.2 miles, she ran 13.1 miles which is a f*cking short marathon by any measure or crush endused sence of protectionism

would make then? I did think it was a girrafe until this comment. The impression I got was that you were decreeing the achievements of people who ran the half marathon, which is still a great achievement.

This is a forum - ie a place where people air and discuss thier opinions. On the whole, people who post here seem to dislike Carrie. Whether this is fair, or reasonable, or right or not is irrelevant - the purpose of this space is to allow people to say what they think. Thats why there are a lot of negative comments about Carrie, because that is what people think. Are you trying to proscribe personal opinion? Are you the thought police?

Bear in mind she was running a f*cking long marathon which doesn't feature an abundance of toliets, i'd imagine this this scene is not-unusual. As for my town, like many - people running around pissing all over the road is common place, especially on a Saturday night...unless you live in Ballamory of course.

My comment was in reply to this effing and geoffing ( girafffe spelling) which was plainly agressive and warranted my albiet far too strong responce, sorry to offend but just protecting my honour, she offered her honour, he honoured her offer and all night long it was hounour and offer.

Taken in issolation my comment was harsh, but as a newbie it's always worth reading the thread !
