I like Chris and Daves parodies much better than Weird Al's. My husband and kids all love Weird Al, I can't stand him - I really don't know why. I think I will be in a minority on this one though, everyone else seems to love him.

He practically invented parodies..... that's why people like him, myself included. And he can play the accordian, which in my eyes, makes him great.

some of his older tracks are outdated, obviously. most of them were very american, not very international... but these new ones seem to be good. more international.

I know he is the Godfather of the parody - maybe the Live Lounge would be a good idea, perhaps then I'd see what everyone else sees.........

Probably the greatest commercial success for a parodist (did I just make that word up???), but I don't think he invented them.

I'm sure Radio 1 D.J's were parodying before he was.

i guess thats why he used the word practicaly. well he was kinda there at the start, he got in as early as he could, he got his material played on the dr. demento show in his early teens! but lets face it hes gona be a better gues than puff daddy. hight profile guests are good, but he isnt your typical guest starr here in the uk is he? if the team wanted to seem a lil origonal then hed be a good choice. and i dont know why al wouldnt go for it, tons of people in the uk have never heard of him! chris could start a "al awarness campeign" lol

fair point.

Some of Al's stuff isn't that good, but a lot of is, so I support your Al Awareness campaign
